Who Stars in ‘Wilderness’?

In the film Wilderness, Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen play the sexless couple Liv and Will. Coleman rose to prominence for her portrayal of Clara Oswald, the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors’ traveling companion, in the venerable British science fiction program Doctor Who. Eric Balfour’s character Cara, a young American woman with a successful career and a loyal boyfriend called Garth, unintentionally becomes involved in Liv and Will’s life. The four of them start off on trekking expeditions together, and as they do, their fates entwine and trigger a chain of events that will forever change the path of their futures. Who Is Making ‘Wilderness?

The riveting book of the same name by B. E. Jones served as the basis for Wilderness. Jones had an interesting path through journalism and law enforcement before becoming the renowned novelist we know today. She spent a significant amount of time working as a police press officer and a journalist, honing her skills in crime reporting and diving deeply into the complexities of security operations, criminal investigations, and emergency preparedness. Jones skillfully integrates her observations into the Wilderness story by drawing on the amount of information and experiences she has accumulated over the course of her career as a true crime reporter.

Marnie Dickens’ idea for Wilderness was developed under the executive production of Elizabeth Kilgarriff, and it was steered by the accomplished filmmaker So Yong Kim. Firebird Pictures is the producer of this intriguing television series. Dickens gave insight into the program and gave a preview of what fans may expect from the next episodes.
