The White Tower, an animated predecessor to The Wheel of Time, will be made by iwot productions and Squeeze Studios. It will be about a young girl with a special gift who has to stand up against an evil that threatens everything she loves.
For those who don’t know, The White Tower of Tar Valon is one of the most important places for the Aes Sedai, a group of women in the world of The Wheel of Time who can access the One Power. This movie will find out if this tower can help the main character, whose name we don’t know yet, save her town.
The official description says, “The movie will take place before the events told in the popular The Wheel of Time TV show from Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television.” “It’s an action-adventure story about a young girl with a special talent whose life is changed forever when evil comes to her town in the mountains. She is alone in a dangerous world, so she must go to The White Tower to learn how to use her magical skills to save her family and friends. She is stubborn and suspicious, but she learns that friendship can fight evil just as well as magic.
Zack Stentz, who wrote Thor, X-Men: First Class, and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, will write this unique story, which will focus a lot on “female empowerment.”

We didn’t get many other information about the movie, and it doesn’t have a release date yet, but the news comes not long before the second season of The Wheel of Time comes out on Prime Video on September 1, 2023.
The first season of The Wheel of Time came out on Prime Video in 2021. It was based on Robert Jordan’s popular book series, which started in 1990 with The Eye of the World.
